I consider myself a normal bloke. Sadly a description few others recognise.
Used to be a doctor.
Now retired so basically on holiday the whole time and consequently struggling with weight.

Although I am generally opposed to wealth taxes as feel they will result in less tax take and harm growth of economy it does seem outrageous that one man can demand a pay package of 1000billion dollars.

I was rather hoping that BlueSky users who are almost all politically left of centre and support minority causes would treat my minority, right of centre, views with a bit more seriousness and respect. But no. Clearly some minorities are more important than others.

Not quite sure why I cannot reply to your tweet so I’ll have to quote. I know myself better than you presume to know me.

So we are not allowed to even make reasonable comment and debate issues now without being accused of being racists. Utterly ridiculous stance to take.

Why don’t young people ( and I’m talking about all under forty’s ) realise that there is a limited supply of hot water for those of us without combi boilers.
I mean how does it take 15 minutes to adequately wash oneself in a shower?
I reckon 2 minutes should be perfectly sufficient

Most countries in the EU have better universal healthcare systems than the NHS and their citizens can afford it.

John please have a read of this. I am utterly opposed to Reform and would hate to see them form a govt but this nonsense from Labour that (first the Tories and now) Reform will make healthcare unaffordable is dangerous, mischievous, irresponsible, frightening and false. fullfact.org/health/reform-nigel-farage-pay-for-nhs-labour/

He literally said “The problems in our country are due to multi-millionaires and billionaires”
See my first post. Now I’m not saying he hates them. Though he may well do!

The govt can't even get the much-needed national inquiry off the ground without issues. Do we really think grooming gangs are being rooted out locally & we're confronting the role racist attitudes of Pakistani perpetrators towards white girls likely played in this context?

This is populism as so easy to target a minority on basis it will solve the problems of the majority.

He’s obsessed with attacking those who have made a success of their businesses. The country needs more such entrepreneurs not fewer.

My first block on BlueSky! It’s a shame we can’t accept a variety of different political views on here. It appears dominated by left wing opinion.
