Oh wow, we used to have those at school (networked, but not online) in the mid 1990s.

My friend and I were deemed to be "knowlegable about computers" and so we were allowed to pick out some software from a catalogue that the school would consider purchasing. However it would be the year after we left, so we never got to play our selections.
