Spent much of the day in the garden today. Even had dinner on the patio. The weather's been gorgeous. I've got some seeds planted, and made a reasonable dent in the weed carpet where we want to plant the potatoes. Gonna take a few more days til we can plant but progress has been made.

The toddler LOVES going in the garden. She is even saying something that's pretty close to "garden" now too. She runs up and down, she sits on the grass, she waters the flowers, she tries to grab the stuff drying on the washing line, she looks at the tulips. She loves it.

She's got it in her head that blue is the main colour though. "What colour is that flower?" I ask, she says "boo" first, then when we say no, attempts to say the correct colour (she can say red, for the tulips, but not yellow, for the dandelions; it's something like "yay-yay" at the moment).
