I’d seen this but until @profmarkovic.bsky.social flagged it for me and I read the full article, I hadn’t realized how bad it is. These measures actively harm students and the broader community. They’re also antithetical to academic freedom. I guess we’ll have to talk about it in our next episode.

Anyway, we have ample research on how living under a state of sustained terror and stress causes life-long health problems as well as intergenerational epigenetic effects. This feels like it's making you sick because it actually is making you sick.
