Not all that interesting. Loves theatre, Gilbert & Sullivan, Sherlock Holmes and all things woke. That photo was taken at Hilltop Park in Signal Hill, CA.
4:40 P.M. at Hilltop. 77F with a nice breeze. Several people at the overlook enjoying the view of a hazy Palos Verdes. No lizards or boids, but one doggo, a very cute Chihuahua mix, is trotting along with his hooman. PT really tired me out today, but I managed one shaky lap around the circular path.
3:30 P.M. at Hilltop. 78F with much haze. Palos Verdes is fairly clear, but downtown Long Beach is...not. Wow! Lots of people here today, both at the overlook and on the grass. No lizards, boids or doggos, harumph! I managed one lap around the circular path even though the wind was against me.
2:20 P.M. at Hilltop. 83F with a light layer of haze. Visibility is pretty good from Palos Verdes down into Long Beach and up to downtown L.A. I missed the last four days, so it was both strange and nice to be back. Quite a few people at the overlook. I didn't try a lap but just enjoyed the view.
2:10 P.M. at Hilltop. 70F with a brisk breeze. Palos Verdes is visible, but Catalina is a no-show. Just five visitors at the overlook. No lizards or boids, but one doggo, a lovely brown spaniel. I'm cutting back on my visits due to the cost of gas. π Managed one lap around the circular path.
7:30 A.M. at Hilltop. 60F with a thick layer of clouds all around. No sign of Palos Verdes. A few little boids flitting about, but no lizards or doggos. Just a few people at the overlook. This is my first visit since Wednesday and I'm glad to be back. Managed one lap around the circular path. Yay!
1:50 P.M. at Hilltop. 77F with the usual hazy sky over Palos Verdes. Two lizards and a few boids, but no doggos. A group of young'uns playing games on the grass, following the directions of an adult leader. I'm still a little worn out from PT yesterday but managed one lap around the circular path.
8:00 A.M. at Hilltop. 61F and the clouds over Palos Verdes & downtown Long Beach make for poor visibility. It's finally cooling off, yay! Not many people here, but there are several small boids and one very cute doggo. He's at a distance, but I think he's a terrier. One lap around the circular path.
I just made a quick trip to Trader Joe's, but the line stretched from the front door halfway down the block! Anyone know what might be going on? Needless to say, I didn't stop.
8:45 A.M. at Hilltop. 71F already. Hazy to the west. I'm not the only one looking to beat the heat. Met two lovely little terriers named Bomba and Gordo. "I didn't name them, my son did," their hooman tells me. Still feeling the effects of yesterday's PT but managed a lap around the circular path.
