Reform and destruction are two different things @katymilkman.bsky.social. NASEM bringing a wolf in sheep’s clothing into the pasture to lecture scientists about all our fraud while he is THE KEY PERSON SYSTEMATICALLY DISMANTLING THE NIH signals to me that NASEM is compromised.

The “engagement” Jay is willing to do only covers the topics that fit his narrative…and his use of the open science movement is to weaponize it against scientists to justify destroying the American scientific ecosystem.

When you platform him, you advance the destruction. It IS that simple.

There’s no “constructive dialogue” that fixes this.

This is the same man who REFUSED to say that polio IS NOT worse than the polio vaccine when I asked him.

Standing Up for Science means refusing to be used to advance destruction of science and democracy.

Jay isn’t engaging in good faith. Period.
