The “engagement” Jay is willing to do only covers the topics that fit his narrative…and his use of the open science movement is to weaponize it against scientists to justify destroying the American scientific ecosystem.

When you platform him, you advance the destruction. It IS that simple.

There’s no “constructive dialogue” that fixes this.

This is the same man who REFUSED to say that polio IS NOT worse than the polio vaccine when I asked him.

Standing Up for Science means refusing to be used to advance destruction of science and democracy.

Jay isn’t engaging in good faith. Period.

Calling scientist’s reaction to Jay “vitriol” is what we see across all injustice: holding victims to a higher standard than the perpetrator.

What about his vitriol towards scientists? Towards students? Towards evidence he doesn’t like?
