My take is that people don't have money anymore. Jobs that used to make decent money no longer do so. Healthcare and rent are unaffordable.

Everything costs way too much.

i wonder if AOC’s early clashes with the democratic establishment PLUS the unhinged reaction to her from republicans have given her some of the “both sides hate her so she must be Independent” vibe that goes a long way with low propensity voters

Nobody is required to stand there and let you tell them to die/kill themselves/etc. to prove they're a Good Cis, and it's fucking weird that people think that's cool and normal.

1. An incredible bill is moving fast in Maryland protecting transgender students.

It would apply to ANY "program or activity," and would even include private schools. This would include sports, bathrooms, and more.

It even has a private right of action.

I just quit my manipulative and transphobic work environment, a place that I was so absolutely gaslit by that I delayed my transition for several years out of fear of loss of work.

They were fighting to make me less visible.

THE DEFINITION of being trans is not identifying with the gender you were assigned at birth!!! Anyone who doesn’t is trans, by DEFINITION. it’s totally chill if an AFAB who uses she/they pronouns doesn’t want to say “I’m trans” but they are, at least by what the term means! We’re all welcome!
