Well for one, Discord has rendered free accounts pretty much useless. I have images that are larger than their 10mb upload limit. It's been unbearable since I cancelled. Paying for a Twitter subscription doesn't get you anything useful. At least Nitro has some actual value to its users.

I have heard that Discord have dropped the "Persona" service for the verification, and the methods of how the verification are stored. They went out to be as transparent as possible of how & why.
