@mrjamesob.bsky.social You seem envious of OAPs on £35k;don't forget the yrs of contributions they've made to private & state pensions (47 by me and I still dont get full state pension) and the encouragement given by hmgov to invest in private pensions and to pay extra NI to get full state pension.

@mrjamesob.bsky.social Listening to your WFA on catch up; your callers are off the target here. People with both state and private pensions should get WFA but only when their income exceeds the national average salary and then be tapered. This call of "I don't need it" does the rest a dis service.
