Politicians have been promising high speed rail between SF and LA longer than I've been alive. I'll believe it when I see it. But I would bet a hundred bucks we'll get that before we get a 400 mile long tunnel. This is a toddler's idea of genius.

When I was a child I wanted to design a system of bridges across the Atlantic Ocean so we could drive to Europe…I think that has a better chance of being built than Elon’s tunnel
