As I said, though probably could have been more clear, I don't mind "carpetbagging." But it was the central obstacle of her campaign.

Totally agree it was an a obstacle. But all else equal, someone with familiarity and ties to a district is preferable to an opportunist.

I mind how critics, even in the replies here, used that word to describe it.
