I am sitting surrounded by a sea of people in bland neutral solids, thinking about your post. The only pattern or color (besides my bold patterning) was one kid in a yellow gingham dress. The other kids are wearing neutrals.

I was gonna bring up Japan! I consult this chart every time I paint a miniature, just to see what else I can add to a scheme and have it look like I've meaningfully considered color theory
