Idk if anyone here needs to hear this (maybe it's me) - but trans women *are* women. People who think they are being sensible/moderate allies by trying to placate to our feelings while denying our womanhood because of our bodies are just transphobic, it's not much deeper than that

I've spent my fair share of time dooming, but we can't vent our frustrations onto those actually trying to make a change for the better. Even if we know the SC will shut us down, we have to try, we have to exist in spite of them trying to erase us, we have to fight the false narratives they paint

Getting blocked moments after defending a trans person from another trans person rudely ripping into them for not conceding that all hope is lost is fucking wild. Shit sucks right now, but keep your heads on straight and remember that us even existing in this country rn is resistance

I know you think many of us should vote Democrat purely because Republicans are worse. And most of us will. But some people who are told their rights don’t matter will just not come out to vote at all. And not completely unreasonably, in my opinion.

No activation of H+H to take patients. Trans patients are a rounding error for the $10B program.

No movement on human rights complaints.

No promise to restore care.

Here's the thing I will continue saying every time this came up: Kamala Harris did not mention trans people in her campaign. She went out of her way to avoid it. She dodged every question on trans rights. And then she still lost. So what Newsom wants is *open hostility* to trans rights

I've been having a really hard time lately trying to process the fact I might not be able to meet my transition goals. I've put countless hours into making it happen and having it all just fall apart at the drop of a dime has been my nightmare fuel. Idk if I can hold my breath for another year

do you think new york city and new york state should enforce local and state nondiscrimination laws against healthcare providers refusing to treat a covered class when the class is trans people? i think they probs should but i'm also sympathetic to the argument that it's just trans people who cares

Nobody is saying the Democrats are exactly the same as Republicans wrt trans rights. What we are saying is their acceptable compromises aren't acceptable to us. I will not share a tent with people who are fine with our segregation and second-class status.

So now there's a poll out that tells the poll-watching Dems they can safely throw trans people under the bus while international organizations warn that the US is in the early stages of a trans genocide. I wonder who they're going to put in the concentration camps when they run out of immigrants.
