May ‘98: I had just crushed the MCAT and was doing my med school entrance apps; I quit my final job outside medicine and joined the staff at a local hospital as a phlebotomist; all in my college town of Columbia, Missouri, USA. That time is now much closer to my birth than the present.

I was probably playing Yoshi Story on the N64. I would have turned 5 that year.

Our project was about retrieving the Super Happy Tree. My goal was to get my dinosaur friends across the screen in one piece.

Quebec in a court challenge here over secular laws - not allowing anyone in public service to wear religious symbols including dress. It covers a large group of people who come under the domain of the public purse. I think these are conversations that need to be had but parallel opinions are hard.

In 1998 I had been here on the farm for 10 years, Tarot Grand Master, starting Tarot Canada. I don't know if it counts, but I did take up Feng Shui so I can blame everything on bad Ikea furniture placement (highly recommend).

France will begin debate on the Yadan law on April 16th.

This bill would equate hatred of Israel with hatred of Jews. Anyone in France criticizing Israel could face expensive fines and years of prison time.

Conflating Israel with all Jews is antisemitic. This bill will promote antisemitism.
