i haven't been a windows/outlook user since 2011 and i get the shakes even remembering it. ETs are gonna pick up on the signal of NASA troubleshooting outlook in space and conclude rightly that our planet must be destroyed before we can deposit that pathogen on any other astral bodies

BTW, I remember when NASA dictated they were consolidating to Windows 95 when it was still in BETA - and the Apple users were very upset. You can thank EDS, the main Government IT contractor at the time for removing Novell, cc.mail, Banyan VINES, and others from the various services and departments

That’s so foul. The computer engineering for the Apollo missions was awe-inspiring. I am mostly in awe of the Artemis II mission but this failure to give today’s astronauts pure and good software is, as you say, unspeakably depressing.
