NATO is like a nuke - its main value is if Russia thinks it might be used. It doesn’t matter if Trump needs Congressional approval to pull out. He just has to say the US is out and that tells Putin all he needs to know.

After all that tension yesterday today I'm in the garden with all those spring jobs to do

Will be sowing coriander and basil outside in pots (Chiltern Seeds for hardy 'British' versions) and beetroot

Apple trees in pots refreshed and fed - lots of fruiting buds this year
