The dogma of Papal Infallibility only pertains to “ex cathedra” declarations made by the Pope on issues of faith and morality. Leo has made no such declarations.

That being said, the Catholic position on what determines a just war has been in place since Augustine and Aquinas.

Furthermore, recent Popes have been very clear and consistent on Christ’s teaching regarding the dignity of human life. The reason it opposes abortion is the same reason it opposes bombs being dropped on civilians. These are established positions that, barring new insight, will not change.

If these are positions you are not comfortable with, the Catholic Church is probably not for you, and you should look elsewhere for spiritual sustenance.
