Not gonna lie, this was exactly how I felt about things until @michaeljanz.bsky.social gave me a good explanation on how things work. Yes, you get a $700k luxury condo. But now that lot may hold two or three families instead of one, which frees up space down the line. It really is trickle-down.

That’s a really good video in there. You should ask City comms to make one specific to Edmonton and get it out to people. Explain how it works and the benefits: lowers costs for individuals, increases tax base for city, good for the environment, can help with homelessness.
