Local produce will not be ready where I am for a long while yet- Z6. The Lacinato in stores is really sad locally. 😕

Gonna have to up my garden game with hoop houses next fall/winter.

The best “broccoli” I ever had was buds of overwintered Lacinato in a Z8b climate. 😋

Definitely pros and cons to either garden zone! I do love having beautiful autumns up here- though I wish we had more spring, which is brief most years.
