During the seder you're supposed to physically create a sandwich of them, with two pieces of matzah around and a bitter herb like horseradish. The act of combining them during a seder is kind of the point.

Yes, and also no flavoring is going to capture the essence of freshly grated/sliced horseradish. The good stuff will open your sinuses AND your third eye. 🤣

, there’s specific requirements for matzo used in ceremonial situations like on the Seder plate but you have have flavored for lunch or whatever so long as it’s still following the other rules to be kosher for Passover. Hence

That said, there are companies that sell matzah crackers and chips in different flavors (usually 'everything', 'onion', 'salt' and even 'cinnamon sugar', but they're usually not Kosher for Passover. But, that doesn't matter to a lot of Jewish people.
