I don’t have any personal experience myself or among my friends, but I found the article informative. I hope the link works for you, but if not I was able to read it as a one-off by using an email address that I’d never used on their site before. Hope you have better experiences. Best wishes.

This old article about his face blindness by Gene Weingarten, then of WaPo, is paywalled, but usually one can access an article free once with a previously unused (on WaPo) email address. I no longer subscribe or this would have been a gift link.
