Fighting games are much like anything else that requires practice. If you’re doing it for the sake of some end product result, you’re going to hate your life, and you’ll probably look for something else long before you become skilled enough to achieve what you had the potential to, whatever it is.

But if you enjoy the doing of a thing, that changes; you don’t play guitar to be in a band, you play because you want to play guitar. You don’t draw to become a world famous artist, you draw because your imagination needs that outlet and you find your ability to express yourself there.
