I live in an area with a lot of wild birds. I have 3 indoor cats and we live on the 4th floor.
We've implemented:
- all basic Covid protocols used during the pandemic (vaccines, masks, etc)
- no balcony access for cats
- no outdoor shoes worn past the doorway

- plastic cat proof tote to keep outdoor shoes in
- 70% alcohol in spray bottle to disinfect door/hall where we might have walked with outdoor shoes
- plus all the things you suggested above :)

I'll do my best to keep us and our furbabies safe!
