So you mute the thread? Like, Mark is a busy guy (I assume), is he really meticulously reading all of his comments, particularly in a clear tire fire? At that point you're just trying to make yourself mad.

If you're deciding who to block you kinda have to read the posts to determine content.

Muting the thread doesn't stop notifications of quote posts. Which you can disable, of course, but that doesn't stop screen shot reposts tagging you.

A dedicated pile-on is zero fun, and while bluesky has better tools to manage them then Twitter ever did, it's still not fool proof.
