We have been visiting this mountain for ten years. Thousands of years ago, a huge temple to Aphrodite once graced its peak; however that temple was destroyed and replaced with a monastery.

The monastery is still active, but I'm sure the lads don't mind me reclaiming it for Aphrodite every year 😉
