this is the weirdest fucking thing. like i saw the email to ghislaine everybody's reposting today & forgot it. it looked like a nothingburger to me. even in our little lefty hothouse this one had no legs.

but now i wonder whether they were going out scouting 13-year-old girls together or something

i'm sure i've sent emails to assholes, if they came up in something like this it is easy enough to go with "i barely knew them and casually email lots of acquaintances" or "i didn't know because they needed me not to know (as meryl streep said re: harvey weinstein)"

easy enough if either were true
