Thing is, this is an argument used against how they handle difficulty in any context. Being able to infinitely credit-feed unfortunately makes it harder for some people to see the value of replaying the game to get better.

I've stared at this reply a lot trying to come up with a responseThere's definitely a trade-off between being able to hammer the simulated coin mech and going for a 1CC. But I think ultimately the big struggle is for people needing extrinsic motivation to improve. Maybe highscore sharing would help?
