Can't wait for the people to do the same stuff with tadc finale that they did years back with Harry Potter books. (a group of people where doing drive by's to the stores and spoilering everyone who was in a waiting line)

I wouldn't be shocked if a good bit of people treat it like morbius or the minecraft movie in terms of the theater experience

nah, it's gonna be more like endgame. people actually love and respect tadc as a show, *nobody* respected minecraft or morbius

I got a ticket the first day of showing for this EXACT reason.
I didn't want to get spoiled
Obviously, I'm not a POS so I'm not gonna spoil nothing

Glitch is a corporation wearing an indie hat. They do not give a shit if their episode gets spoiled, they get their FOMO money. Then they'll be selling merch same day so even if you managed to avoid spoilers from fans, their shirts and plushes will spoil it for you.

Aw shit, it's almost like it costs money to make a show and if they can't recoup that money, they go bankrupt and can't make more shows. It's almost like there are people who need to be paid enough to survive on if they want to make things; if they can't make enough money, they can't make any more.

I think it's pretty awesome for this series to go from just the pilot, to a (sorta) simultaneous Netflix drop, and pops the finale in a limited theatrical release.

Munny

People now have an incentive to go pay to see it in theaters so they won’t be spoiled.

whats shocking is how hellbent people are on defending it. like they *need* to do it *exactly* like this and we should be happy for them

I feel like the only reason to do this is to make the ticket price more worth it, y’know pay to see the internet series on the big screen, AND you get to see it early!

Except those tickets were gonna be sold out either way, it was definitely unnecessary.
