I'm glad we have the options to play it with the original look and stuff (since the HUD/display/etc seems to have lost a bunch of charm in the same way the Suikoden Remasters did) if we want.

Now...if only they'd let us play with the original translation, lol.

The “classic” version says its based off the War of the Lions version, which is the PSP version… and the “enhanced” version says its adding new elements etc

This is obviously built off the PSP version and not the inferior PS1 version

Now if only we could play remastered but with pixel graphics. Why do they hate pixels so much. The weird smooth new graphics are nowhere near as charming.

I feel this. It's a little jarring for me. My design criticism is I do not like the updated tile highlight and the way they've done the HP bars and its font. It looks too modern and breaks from the aesthetic of the rest of the game. The old font and HP bars looked antiquated and matched the world >>

It's pixel art too, but it looks tighter because the resolution is higher. The blurry look is just from the game video capture. When I played Saga Frontier 2 Remastered, it looked ugly on the announcement, but it looked great when I was actually playing it.

Like it’s just a filter over the pixels to smooth them… can we just get that as a toggle on and off. I would love to play the newer version but I want pixels! Why do people hate beautiful charming pixel art soooo much :(
