The proportion of Helium used to manufacture chips and medical equipment coming from Ormuz is even higher than oil and natural gas. Same for fertilizers. Other industries like aluminum are hit. The ramifications are much deeper than many people think and it could bring famines.

That being said, I’m perfectly comfortable with Iran being the new middle eastern hegemon controlling the gulf. They’re much more trustworthy and moral than Israel and the US.
