Born during the NES window so there from the start I guess! Though honestly we were always a Sega family. If many of the heavy hitter RPG's on the SNES had PAL releases it may have been different!

LOL, it's really good, but even so, that's not a fair trade for losing out on Chrono Trigger and Super Mario RPG: Legend Of The Seven Stars, and others...

Well, at least you didn't miss out on the golden age... the Super NES era is just perfect!
Especially if you like RPGs.
But that's not to say there isn't great stuff in later generations - there certainly is!
Hope you still had some chances to sample stuff, like when visiting friends, for instance.
