Tonight, Artemis II will take humans further than they've ever gone into space, helping us learn more about our universe & one day return to the moon.

Marylander Reid Wiseman leads the mission guided by the Near Space Network at NASA Goddard.

I was 5 the first time the USA put a man on the Moon, and it impressed me for life. Today? The complete opposite. You lost me.

Don’t really see how learning more about our universe helps anything with this administration undoing climate protections and industry regulations so we can destroy our universe more quickly than ever. No offense to crew members, but the expense of space exploration right now is poor timing.

Total waste of taxpayer money at a time when Dementia Don is spending $1.0 billion/day and people are without food and healthcare. I grew up during the space race and enough is enough.

I wish I could be more excited about this, but it is happening in a dark chapter of American history 🤦‍♂️

We’ve been to the moon before. We even landed on it decades ago.

I don’t think there’s any pride to be had for a space mission when our own military here on Earth is being illegally deployed to a war in Iran. We don’t even fucking have free healthcare or college level education made free and we’re worrying about moon bases?

People are starving and dying. We shouldn’t be spending money on this now.
