sorry if you've already answered this, but is freeze-dried raw food safe? my cat has severe GI issues and can really only eat specific foods, freeze dried raw chicken being one of them

Freeze dry preserves viruses and doesn't kill them. I believe the brand recalled after a cat died was freeze dried raw

Talk to your vet. Anything labeled raw is dangerous for cats.

Hopefully they can recommend some other food.

Canned wet food that's not labeled raw is fine. I am only answering this since a lot of people were confused if wet food is raw.

So you might want to speak to your veterinarian only because it is recommended to avoid feeding raw meat (including freeze-dried) & unpasteurized dairy.
