Don't underestimate the impact of bad campaigning, poor messaging, and name recognition.

Biden's insistence was an open wound in the election. Harris & advisors mismanaged the campaign, but in fairness they had no time to prepare a coherent message. And you can't half-ass a Presidential campaign.

Not the worst idea, but they didn't follow-up firmly. There was a lack of plain messaging or goals. Even I'm unsure what Harris intended.

Trump supporters (foolishly & incorrectly) believed they were voting for low prices, no foreign wars, thrifty government because that was the campaign.
