Amazing! I've been thinking about attempting one of these, but I was put off by the fiddly machining. I hadn't thought of your excellent workarounds.

Aww thanks! This is the result of many months of trying to find an achievable method, I’ve uploaded the CAD files here but I’d suggest anyone uses build techniques that works for them github.com/simonboak/Paper-Tape-Punch
