It was fascinating watching Elon devolve. He truly was passionate about rockets and EVs but Twitter and the ability to ignore "no" that wealth brought destroyed his ability to think critically. He reveled in the attention the worst of Twitter gave him and leaned into it.

He is knowledgeable in some very specific areas but, as with all those who have giant egos, he thinks he's got a depth and breadth of knowledge and skill that he just... doesn't.
