Remember this guy, making videos clearing out public drains to keep roads from getting flooded?

Work done for free to produce tangible positive results. Just for the love of the game. Imagine if everyone who didn't have to worry about making it through the week?

I worked for about a year at a Subway before going off to college, and honestly? I liked that job. Preparing food is satisfying. Only things I didn't like were some of the customers and the owner, and UBI eventually fixes both of those problems because you can just walk away.

The only reason it's so bad right now is labor and capital both know the deck is stacked HEAVILY in favor of capital. Managers know you'll put up with infinite bullshit because the alternative is literally starving to death. This is all by design — a vulnerable population stays docile to stay alive.

Been watching this guy for years. He actually goes out to logging sites and clears culverts of beaver dams too, but knows how vital they are to the ecosystem and points out why he only tears down the ones impacting roads, leaving other dams. Solid dude.
