The economists webpage estimating deaths globally & by country was good but it's back behind the paywall now. It calculated excess deaths rather than relying on official stats, although it contrasted them as well. The numbers were quite horrifying, especially in countries with minimal health systems

This shows roughly 10,000 excess deaths a day still happening in mid 2024, despite the official Covid count having dropped to less than 200 a day.
