Lamont’s gas tax holiday will cost $40M per month and he’ll spend $500M to send everyone $200 but we have no additional funding for public transit 🙄

Fully restore SLE, increase the bus transit subsidy, lower fares, still cost less than either of those.

Why do I care so much? First of all, I live in the Bridgeport metro region and this is essential for so many people’s lives—including some of my constituents, as my district borders Bridgeport and includes the heavily-used Trumbull mall stop
