That John Deere one is especially heinous. It's very seasonal & essential work. Climate change has made farming even more time sensitive work. If equipment breaks you have to get it up and running asap. Everyones machines breaking at the same time during busy season when they're in use dusk til dawn

There's a reason pre-2010 cars are so desirable. Anyone with car know how can fix them. They don't have every aspect of the car locked down by computer. If you're a car guy newer cars are basically useless to tinker around in. Some make even basic maintenance impossible like changing an oil filter.
