I find the comparison with Rogan tricky. He built a large audience with normies interviewing interesting people. Anybody who started with a sectarian audience is probably more comparable to a spectrum from Kirk to Jones (re audience appeal, not craziness).

Yes, that makes sense, but nobody who already knows this stuff would watch Hasan. He has never taught me anything I didn't already know.

However he helps convert young liberal genzers because his rhetoric is good and he uses critical thinking and history. Something missing in mainstream culture.
