I think the best way to keep sane during dark times is to "look for the helpers" as Fred Rogers says.

If you're able, look for ways to be a helper yourself.

As usual, look to the good people of Ukraine for inspiration.

That encourages victim mentality, dependency and waiting for someone else to do the work. Roger's was talking to children, not adults. WE are who we have.
