People are comparing this to Harris with Cheney but I think it’s important to note that Harris wasn’t courting Donald Trump voters but people that had already decided they *weren’t* voting for Trump but weren’t sure they could vote for a Democrat

The last year in elections does not suggest we need to lift one finger to appeal to Trump voters in '26 & '28, so like getting a Totenkopf, he's doing it by choice.
