Women outvote men, but 69M married women have names that don't match their birth certificates. This bill turns paperwork into a weapon against their voice. Don't let them be silenced at the polls.

Fuck that, white women who carry water for the patriarchy can go to hell. They want to see what’s happening for real? Take away this right and I guarantee you they will finally see what we’ve been telling those dipshits. How can so many women support this cruel regime is beyond me.

Get your passport. We shouldn't have to do it, but all in all it's a small price to pay for voting freedom. If the GOP thinks this is going to help them, they are sorely mistaken. It's going to affect poor, misinformed maga women a hell of a lot more than it will affect democrats.

I don’t have the statistics, but I wonder if liberal-thinking women would be more likely to have kept their maiden names than conservative-thinking women. Meaning more liberal women whose voter list names match their passport. Could be the impact does not favor Republicans at all.

The GOP really hate women. I will never understand why women vote Republican. The war on women continues unabated. 🀬

In the mean time, start gathering the relevant paperwork right now.

Stop taking husband’s name. Women are not chattel anymore.

Yes - if I could go back in time I wouldn’t. But moving ahead, girls need to think about this as they consider marriage.

69 mm women to out vote men, look no further as to why they want to suppress the voices of women through the SAVE Act

My 86-year-old MAGA voting father will have HIS ability to vote impacted by the SAVE Act because the Pennsylvania hospital where he was born made a mistake on his birth certificate. He can't get a passport as a result and can no longer go fishing in Canada.

GOP Congress hurting their own too.

Sad. But he could easily have filed a name change in court to fix the problem years ago. Just sayin...

Called and complained a few weeks ago, and told my sister and nieces to do it too.

I got my REAL ID, and I paid $14 to get my marriage certificate to show my name change. Altogether, it cost $54 to get that IDβ€” new birth certificate, marriage certificate, and the card itself.

There are several targets. The most damaging is the part of the bill that requires all states to turn their voter rolls over to the feds. PA has been fighting this for a long time. See Jenny Cohn (@jennycohn.bsky.com) who has been investigating voting security for a long time.

Blatantly unconstitutional- violates the equal protection clause because of its disparate impact on women being unduly harmed
