The pro-statehood party is the PNP.

The PNP is an organ of the GOP.

In Puerto Rico, Statehood as a political party and movement are MAGA.

They are reactionary Republicans, have been since their creation in the 1950s.

The Dem-aligned party is the PPD, the party of Status Quo aka Colony Status

The USA in PR is a right wing force.

Statehood is just the final step in that colonial project.
