Xfl actually did try to merge with the cfl but it didn't work because the xfl didn't want to go to a 3 down game and the cfl wasn't willing to give up 3 down football

I do not want to see it merge because 3 down football is great, the rouge is great, the deep endzones are great.

Yeah I've actually never watched cfl so I'm not sure how much different 3 vs 4 is
