Meidas Canada just launched. Also - Ground News and Allsides does bias-rated news posting. Rabble dot ca is independent and user-funded but biased left (not necessarily a bad thing)

I just reactivated my @pressprogress.ca subscription. Been thinking about it for a while but today was just too much. Always loved The Tyee too, but I wanted to add another mention to build on your excellent point.
