My 2 yr old daughter doesn't point out taxis or ubers. She's been in plenty (in Australia). They just aren't very interesting.

Btw your point is still valid that that's a pretty absurd rule.

There are no infant car seats on a bus, but they can still ride them!

a bus has a very different set of chances to be involved in an accident and doesn’t have the same momentum/distance from the windshield as a car

Buses are a safer mode of transport but I'd question just how much safer once the different duty cycles are taken into account (cars do a larger % of driving in remote areas, late at night and on highways).

Regardless, this restriction hasn't helped U.S. traffic deaths which are abysmal vs peers.
