Per that Politico piece "Souter has been extensively courted by aides to Sturgeon’s successor Humza Yousaf"—except Yousaf got kicked out: his replacement, John Swinney, was Sturgeon's deputy so I suspect won't have much time for Souter.

(Souter is still a vile bawbag.)
